He was born January 31, 1945 in Emmett, to Walter and Irene Conrad. He graduated from Emmett High School and later served in the United States Army. During that time he married Anita Swander. They had two children, Scott and Patti. In 1979 he and Cheryl were married. They raised their four children in Emmett and enjoyed their time traveling, fishing, racing horses and dog agility.

Dale was a gentle man who lived his life doing the things he loved, making people laugh, teaching his children to fish, hunt, love animals and their families.
He will be missed by all of us.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Pet Adoption League (PAL) of Emmett.
Dale would like everyone to know that he has gone fishing.
