We are sad to hear of Marie's passing and extend our deep sympathy to Brice and the family. We are sorry we could not attend the service as we are presently at our winter home in Arizona.
We remember Marie's skill and kindness when she taught our children at Departure Bay School. She was a valued colleague when we both taught in District # 68 and a great neighbour when we lived on Sherwood Drive. She will be missed and remembered by many.
We know that the family will have a wonderful store of memories to recall as the years pass.
Our deepest sympathy.

I will always remember Marie's kindness. She was my colleague at Quarterway for many years. She made me birthday cards by hand. She gave me a set of little trolls because I loved them so. She even dressed one up as a "BIg Sister' because that was the organization I was involved with at the time. She let me join her on a field trip with her grade 4 students to look for fossils, accompanied by her husband & son. The fossils I found that day still grace my mantel. She sent me a special gift for my 50th birthday, a quartz crystal necklace. I will always remember Marie with fondness and much love. My condolences to the family.
