Dear Sister Sharen, I am so very sorry to hear of the loss of your mother. What a sweet lady she was! I loved visiting with her and especially loved learning how to make her applesauce. I thought about her as I made a batch this past summer. Bet she was a wonderful Home Ec teacher. Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord.

My dearest Christine , my life has been so enriched by having you in it, you taught me so much over the years, with each lesson in quilting you stitched in the knowledge of kindness , acceptance, tolerance, forgiveness , you helped me through many heartaches of this world. You were such a caregiver to the needs of others. And one of the best noodle/ Apple pie maker ever, not to mention the cookies... And apple sauce! the mountains of cookies at Christmas and special occasions ..I know I will never have the honor of serving such a wonderful person again. My Friday mornings at the salon will be empty without your kind face and beautiful hair. Sharen and Mark my deepest condolences, also to your huge family you have so graciously shared with me over the years. Your matriarch is resting with our Lord. I am just one of the many people who loved your mother.
