Dear Reinier family,
Jim and I are distant cousins. We discovered each other through a love of family and genealogy. We are both descendants of Britta Ann Green. Jim was always generous and kind enough to share his research with me and to make suggestions on how to improve mine. About 10 years ago he showed me around places that Britta would have known. We kept in touch occasionally via email. He was kind to me, a person he barely knew but treated as kin. I'll miss him, but certainly not as much as you. So sorry for your loss. Please accept sincere condolences from my branch of the family.
