Demler, Terrence "Terry"
Terrence "Terry" Demler, age 74, of Oshkosh, passed away on April 10, 2015. He was born on July 24, 1940, in Oshkosh, son of Joseph and Lydia (Fischer) Demler.
Terry was retired from Mercury Marine in Fond du Lac where he worked for over 30 years. He enjoyed playing softball and was an avid golfer and bowler. He appeared in multiple televised bowling tournaments and was inducted into the United States Bowling Congress Oshkosh Hall of Fame in 1994.
Long known for his generosity and sharp sense of humor, Terry enjoyed watching Wisconsin sports, spending time with family and biking with friends in South Park.
Terry is survived by his daughter Jessica (Dan) DeBraal; one brother Richard Demler, two sisters Lynn (Larry) Paulus and Cindy Demler; nephews Joseph (Cindy) Demler, Jim Demler, Chad Paulus; nieces Kathy (Greg) Anderson and Fallon (Jacob) Crowe.
Terry was preceded in death by his parents and sister-in-law Audrey (Quint) Demler.
A memorial service will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 16, 2015 at Fiss & Bills-Poklasny funeral home, 870 W South Park Avenue, Oshkosh. The family will greet relatives and friends from 3:00 p.m. until the time of service.
