Lloyd William Wetzel Sr., 91, of Woodstock passed away Saturday, April 11, 2015 in Woodstock.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Sunset View Memorial Gardens in Woodstock. Reverend Freddie Helsley will officiate.
Friends can call anytime at the home of Dennis and Sharon Marston.
Mr. Wetzel was born March 5, 1924 in Woodstock. He was the son of the late John and Mary Funkhouser Wetzel.
He worked as a manager at Woodstock Manufacturing where he retired. He was a member of The Woodstock United Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by five brothers, Carl, Gilbert, Lester, Glenn, and Floyd Wetzel; and three sisters, Rose Hancock, Radie Stultz, and Stella Bradfield.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Phyllis Bradfield Wetzel; children, Doris Wetzel, Sharon Marston and husband, Dennis, and Lloyd Wetzel Jr., all of Woodstock; grandsons, Justin Marston of Strasburg, and Cameron Wetzel of Woodstock; great granddaughters, Brianna Chloe and Alivia Marston; and a great grandson, Christopher Wetzel.

Lloyd was a wonderful person. Worked with him at Woodstock Mfg. He always had a smile. Treated me like a friend and not a number. I have thought of him often but I know where he is and I will see him again. GOD BLESS all the family.
