Benjamin G. Fry, 72 of Sheldon, IL passed away April 10, 2015 at Sheldon Health Care in Sheldon, IL. He was born November 21, 1942 a son of Robert "Bud" and Viola Perkins Fry. Survivors include one sister – Shirley (Roy) Sanford of Benton, MO; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Benjamin was preceded in death by his parents, one brother- Darrol Fry, one sister- Gloria Fry, two nieces- Pamela Fry and Penny Sanford, and three nephews- Michael Fry, Roy "Bub" Sanford Jr., and Jimmy Sanford.
Benjamin served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam era. He was also a member of the American Legion. Benjamin helped his father on the family farm for many years.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday April 14, 2015 at 12 noon at the Knapp Funeral Home Sheldon, IL with Vicki Killus officiating. Burial will be in the Liberty Cemetery at Iroquois, IL. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 10:00 am until the 12 noon service at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the Liberty Cemetery in Iroquois, IL.

Ben I met you about 7or8 years ago while visiting my mom at the nursing home.Thru the years we became friends, I'll miss you.
