Franklin Myron Masley, 34; Cherished son of John and Elizabeth (nee Wahrbein) Masley; Beloved grandson of Helen (nee Lobyko) and the late Myron Masley and the late Agnes (nee Rochette) and the late Franklin Wahrbein; Loving brother of Arlene (Dave) Nowicki, Karen (Justus) Joseph and Joe (Crystal) Masley; Dear uncle of Hana, Devin, Clara, Brandon, Serena, Caroline, Justus, Jr. and the late Lily; Fond nephew and cousin to many. Franklin was a proud athlete of Special Olympics at Independence Park, a happy resident of Active Visions and a longtime participant at the New Horizon Center. Visitation will be Wednesday April 15th from 3 - 9 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge. Funeral services begin Thursday at 9:00 a.m. from the funeral home proceeding to St. Eugene Church for 10:00 a.m. Mass. Committal service will follow at Acacia Park Cemetery. Our deepest sympathy to the family . My son is a Special Olympics athlete with Shabbona Park. He has been in numerous competitions with Independence Park. As a mother I am saddened for the loss of your child. God has taken him into his eternal care , grant him eternal rest and peace.
