Donald "Boo Boo" Johnson
Funeral services celebrating the life of Donald "Boo Boo" Johnson will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, April 17, 2015, in The Chapel of Hixson Brothers, Pineville, with Reverend Sherman Delrie officiating. Burial will follow in Frazier Cemetery, Prospect.
The family requests that visitation be observed at the funeral home, Thursday, April 16, 2015, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., and resume on Friday morning from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
Pallbearers honored to serve will be Dewayne Murrell, John Parker Jr. "Lil John", Frank Smith, Anthony "Shorty" Smith, Chris Waites and his nephews: Aaron, Evan and Trey Brevelle. Honorary pallbearers are his son, Landon Romero and his nephew, Carter Johnson.
Boo Boo was a unique person, full of dreams and character, who never met a stranger. His heart over-flowed with love and determination to please his family and friends. Always having a cheerful demeanor, he never failed to make others laugh. He didn't have many hobbies, but loved to help build rocking chairs in the family business, sitting on the porch, and spending time with his family. Boo Boo was always motivated by his outstanding faith in the Lord and encouraged others to have the same perspective. He will be loved and remembered forever.
Donald Brian Johnson, 31, of Dry Prong, entered eternal rest on Friday, April 10, 2015, in Colfax.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Donald and Lyndol Parker; paternal grandfather, Franklin A. Johnson; and his uncles, Barton R. Parker and Jack Johnson.
Those left to cherish his memory include his parents, Frank and Deborah Parker Johnson; paternal grandmother, Velma Johnson; sisters, Kristy Johnson, Victoria Brevelle and spouse, Jay; brothers, Kevin Johnson and spouse, Kim, Terry Lynn McCullough and spouse, Christy; special aunts and uncles, Terry Don and Nita Parker, John Parker, Sr. and spouse, Tracy, Ann Parker, Kirby Don and Linda Parker, Barbara Parker, Ruby Johnson, and a host of other cousins, family members and friends.
