Larry T. Oliver Sr. Rahway great-grandfather, served in Vietnam, 65 Larry T. Oliver Sr., 65, of Rahway, N.J., departed this life on April 23, 2015. A celebration of his life will be held on Thursday, April 30, 2015, at 10 a.m. at the Mt. Teman A.M.E. Church, 160 Madison Ave., Elizabeth, N.J., Rev. Carlton Gibson, pastor. Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until time of services. Arrangements are in the loving care of the Nesbitt Funeral Home, 165 Madison Ave., Elizabeth. Born in Carteret, N.J., Larry lived most of his life in Elizabeth before moving to Rahway. A veteran of the United States Army, he served in the Vietnam War. He was employed by E.I. Dupont, and twilight shift at UPS and Target. Larry leaves to cherish loving memories, his beloved wife of 47 years, Rosemarie Bradshaw Oliver; his daughters, Omeca, Yolanda, and Wadie (Walter) Williams; a son, Larry T. Jr.; his mother-in-law, Mavourneen Bradshaw; his siblings, and Lloyd Shivers and Juanita McCloue. He was the loving grandfather of 10 and great-grandfather of five. He is also survived by a host of other loving relatives and dear friends.
