Virgie Hollon Smith Guernsey, 91, Hodgenville, formerly of Lebanon, died Saturday, April 18, 2015 at Sunrise Manor Care Center, Hodgenville.
She was born on Sept. 24, 1923 in Gravel Switch.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, John Hamilton and Grace Henson Hollon; and three brothers, Charlie, George and Harold Hollon.
Survivors include: a daughter, Deborah Smith Foster of Louisville; a son, Lynn Henson Smith of Finley; four sisters, Dorothy Mattingly, Bobby Lou Murphy and Mary C. Murphy, all of Lebanon, and Eddie Roution of Campbellsville; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 22, at Bosley Funeral Home, Lebanon, with interment in Old Liberty Cemetery. Bro. Steve Lee officiated.
Pallbearers were Larry Hollon, Tom Hollon, Ricky Murphy, Donnie Roution, Barry Roution, and Jimmy Roution.
Bosley Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
