Harry Ayala, 51, of New Britain, died Friday (May 1, 2015) at the Hospital of Central Connecticut in New Britain. Born in Puerto Rico, the son of Guillermo and Ignacia (Rivera) Ayala, he lived most of his life in New Britain. He was employed by the City of New Britain as a 911 dispatcher. In addition to his parents, Harry is survived by his wife Mary (Walker)Ayala; three sons Harry Ayala, Jr. of West palm Beach, FL; William Ayala and Steven Ayala both of New Britain; a brother Jimmy Ayala of Bristol; a grandchild; special friends Carter Sperry, Marie Lausch and Debbie Baulieu; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother William Ayala, Jr. Funeral services will be at the convenience of the family, with burial in St. Mary Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday (May 5, 2015) from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the Farrell Funeral Home 110 Franklin Sq. New Britain. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lupus Foundation 270 Farmington Ave. Farmington, CT 06032 or to The American Kidney Fund 11921 Rockville Pike Suite 300 Rockville, MD 20852. Harry was a kind and gentle soul who never complained about himself. Instead, he chose to focus on others. He loved his family and always did the very best for them. Harry was a great person and we will miss him. He will never be forgotten and will always be in our hearts.
