Mary A. Moore, 71, of Nazareth, PA, formerly of Plant City, FL and Easton, PA, passed away Sunday, May 3, 2015. Born July 8, 1943, in Alburtis, PA, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Arlene Funk Bechtel. Mary graduated from Easton Area High School Class of 1961. She was a member of River of God Fellowship Church, formerly Easton Mennonite Church. Mary's children extend a special thank you to the staff of St. Luke's Hospice House for their compassionate care during their mother's stay. Surviving is a son, Matthew M. Moore and his fiancee Robin Laponuke, of Nazareth; a daughter, Rene A. Kahl and her husband Keith, of Catasauqua; three brothers, Charles Bechtel and Randy Bechtel, both of Easton and Barry Bechtel, of Georgia; a sister, Brenda Bergner, of Florida; her husband, Montie "Rick" Moore, of Phillipsburg, NJ; two step-daughters, Stephanie Weaver and Elyse Brooks, both of Kentucky; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sons, George A. Morris, Jr. and Michael M. Moore; a brother, Gene Bechtel and a sister, Ethel Norman. A memorial service will be held at 11am Friday in the Strunk Funeral Home, Inc., 602 W. Berwick Street, Easton. Call Friday 10-11am in the funeral home. Offer online condolences at www.strunkfh.com. Rene and Matt, Words cannot express the emotions I am feeling for you both during this time of loss. May you both remember all the good times you have had with your mom. Hold on to the love she gave you and know she will be with you always.
We have had many fun times with her and she was always making us laugh with her sense of humor! Know that she is loved by us all and will be missed so much!
