I worked with Marion for years at Goodrich. He had a great interest in his fellow workers and always made sure they were treated fairly. I remember his love for softball and how well he played the game.
Grief can be so hard, but our special memories help us cope. Remembering you and your loved one today and always.

Mitch, Becky, Austin, and Baylie,
There are few words to describe the pride a daddy has in his son, especially the pride your dad had in you Mitch. Your devotion to him was unmatched and he loved it. He loved your family so much and though all of you will miss him greatly, know that there is hope to be reunited again in heaven. Our prayer is the Father of peace and love will wrap His arms of comfort around you all and give you strength and courage for the hard days ahead, especially on those Sunday afternoons. We love you all so much.

Lisa,
Being a 'daddy's girl' is a great thing. You bask in a love that is unconditional and full. Feeling the loss when his absence leaves such a huge hole is almost unbearable. But his love for you came from the Father above and the Father's love is never ending and always there to lean on. In your times of sorrow and grief, lean on Jesus. He is strong and will never leave you. The love He has is greater than anything you will ever experience this side of heaven, so allow Him to bring you the peace and strength and courage you will need to face the days, weeks and months ahead. We love you dearly and are praying for your comfort and peace.

Nancy, Tim & Trent,
The absence of your daddy (pawpaw) in your life brings a deep sadness that seems like it will never lift from your heart, but through the love of Jesus and His mercy and grace, you will be able to once again breathe and live life. Your daddy would want you to remember the happy times, smile and talk about his laughter, his hard work, and your fun times together as family. Grieve because you must, but cling to the hope of being reunited in heaven and live in the assurance that you were deeply loved by this wonderful man. We love you guys and are praying for peace and comfort as only the Father can give.

Gloria,
It is with a heavy heart that we say goodbye here on earth to M.E. He was such a wonderful man, a good neighbor, and a loving husband and father to all of your family. We will always remember his kindness and gentle ways and his sweet smile. Our prayer is the Lord will wrap you in His arms of love and peace and bring you comfort during the days, weeks, and months ahead, especially on Sunday afternoons. We know those were your special times together so we ask for His grace to remain sufficient to carry you through all your hours of sorrow. We love you so much.
