St. George, UT-Gwenevere "Gwen" R. Peterson passed away May 3, 2015 at the age of 83.
She was born March 14, 1932 in Richfield Utah, to Isaac Glenn and Mary Savage Riddle. She married Dewey Vincent "Vince" Peterson in Richfield, Utah on September 6, 1956. She was raised in Antimony, Utah and spent her youth on her Father's and Mother's ranch. She was a member of the LDS Church.
Gwen is survived by her nieces, Wendy Riddle (Milton) Slagowski, Kelly L. Riddle and Melissa Riddle Foss. She is also survived by her late husband's eight nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dewey Vincent Peterson, her brother Glenn Ro Zeal Riddle and her nephew Kevin Riddle. She was known to all as a loving wife, loyal friend and Aunt.
Funeral services will be on Saturday May 9, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Metcalf Mortuary Chapel, 288 West St. George Blvd, St. George, Utah. Viewing will be prior to the services on the Saturday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Interment will follow at the Tonaquint Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to the care of Metcalf Mortuary, 435-673-4221. I helped Gwen for many years at the Bank. So was always such a sweet and special person. I will miss helping her. I know she is now happy to be with her sweetheart Vince. She missed him dearly after he passed. I wish her family comfort at this difficult time. It was a pleasure helping her for many years.
