Everett "Randy" R. Burns, Jr., 67, of Lynn, IN passed away suddenly from an accident, Wednesday, May 6, 2015, at his home. He was born February 22, 1948 in Wayne County, IN the son of Everett R. and Mary (Stanley) Burns.
Randy retired in 2007 as a Machinist for Bullen Semiconductor Corp. He had previously worked at Fram and Maul Bros. Technologies. He enjoyed spending his leisure time fishing and woodworking. He especially enjoyed working on various projects with his four sons. He was known for his love of music and he enjoyed karaoke on the weekends.
He leaves to cherish his memory four sons, Travis Burns (wife, Melissa) of Milton, IN, Kevin Burns (wife, Tameka) of Fountain City, IN, Jamie Burns (wife, Angie) of Fountain City, IN and Chad Burns (wife, Ashley) of Richmond, IN; two brothers, Richard Burns of Bloomingport, IN and Kenny Burns (wife, Diana) of Fountain City, IN; a sister, Rosemary Bollman (husband, Mike) of Richmond, IN; eight grandchildren, Mallory, Audrey, Isaac, Jesseca, Ava, Lila, Ciara and Blakeleigh; and a loving companion, Karen Whalen of Lynn, IN. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Brandon; and two granddaughters, Breana and MacKenzie.
A service to celebrate Randy's life will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at Thomas Memorial Chapel of Lynn, IN. Burial will follow in Cherry Grove Cemetery of Lynn, IN. Family and friends may gather to share and remember from 4-8 p.m. Monday, May 11, at the funeral home. Online condolences may be expressed at www.wilsonshookfuneralhomes.com.
