Jay Lorandeau, 72, of Pembroke, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 7, 2015, at South Shore Hospital. Born in Milton, December 4, 1942, to Charles and Marie Lorandeau. He lived all of his life in Pembroke. Jay was not only a loving husband to Gail, but also her best friend of over 50 years. He was the loving father of Michael and his wife Aishah, Robin, Kristen and her husband Wayne. Also very much adored by his 10 grandchildren, Danny, Charmaine, Matthew, Christina, Catherine, Samantha, Meaghan, Zachary, Annalise, and Ashton; and 2.5 great-grandchildren Katlyn, William, and one on the way; loving nieces, Cathy Jean and Janet Lorandeau. Jay surrounded his family with unconditional love. He was preceded in death by his loving brother, Charles. We first new Jay when we moved to West St. He was a young boy in High School . And when some one of the boys waiting for the school bus was picking on our oldest Son Carl about five years younger then he. He Stood up for hem. Things like that are NOT forgotten.

I grew up with Jay on West Street. Our families lived next door to each other. We had great adventures, played ball, swam at the Hollow and enjoyed an idyllic existence. All of the Stewarts extend our sympathy and best wishes to Jay's extensive family.
