Jule Ann Smar, 76, of Metuchen, N.J., died Saturday in Overlook Hospital.
Born Jan. 14, 1939, in Scranton, Jule was retired. She was an avid reader and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by two daughters, Tracy White and fiancé, Michael Shaw, Fords, N.J.; and Susan Salina, Palm Bay, Fla.; a son, Michael Smar and wife, Gloria, Jacksonville, Fla.; six grandchildren, Amanda, Anthony, Gabrielle, Joseph, Shawn and Michael; a sister, Lois Gallagher, Scranton; and many nieces and nephews.
Jule was preceded in death by two sisters, Rita May and Joan Wallace.
Visitation will be Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave., Fords, N.J. Services will be Thursday at 8. Cremation will be private.

I would like to send my condolences for the loss of your Mom. I have not been feeling well so will be unable to pay my respects. You will be in my thoughts and prayers. My daughter Linda would also like to express her condolences for your loss. She was a nice lady and she will be missed.May god bless you all.
