MADISON — Joseph Thayne Fulk, 78, of Madison, NC, passed away on Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home.
He was born on December 21, 1936 in Guilford County, NC to Ellis Grady Fulk and Gladys Dillon Fulk Snyder. In additional to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Miles Fulk, Douglas Fulk, Elzo Fulk and Ivy Fulk. He was preceded in death by his wife, Parkie Johnson Fulk on March 14, 2015. Surviving are one daughter, Lisa Jo Ritch (Robert) of Waxhaw, NC; one son, Ricky J. Fulk (Karen) of Sandy Ridge, NC; three grandchildren, Dustin Fulk, Cody Fulk and Maxwell Ritch; two great-grandchildren, Caden and Luke Fulk; four sisters, Cara Lue Lilly of Alaska, Nancy Guterrez of California, Lorraine Lipford of Florida and Ogie Fallen of Madison, NC and two brothers, Larry Fulk of Walnut-Cove, NC and Michael Snyder of Greensboro, NC.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, May 17, 2015 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Pastor Tim Gentry officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Mr. Fulk's memory to his three grandchildren to Lisa Ritch 8013 Penman Springs Drive, Waxhaw, NC 28173.
