I loved being in Mrs. Armold's class in the school year of 1958-59! She was a loving teacher. She helped us cope during the death of a classmate. She was one of the teacher's who influenced me to become a teacher. We had corresponded through Christmas cards until she was no longer able to do so. Her son had called on my husband's tractor & implement business. What a surprise when he told me who had been there that day! I'm sure her family has many happy memories of her. I loved her so!

Muriel was such a dear person--always warm and kind to all she would meet. She was the oldest member of our White County retired Teachers Association and faithfully attended our local meetings until she moved to Ohio. She will be remembered fondly and recognized at our June 24th meeting. Our thoughts and prayers go to all her friends and family. Dave Kelly, President, WCRTA

Muriel was a very lovely lady. She was always so kind to my brother and I when we would visit at Sitka with my grandparents (Eldred & Lucile Kilmer). I am sure that Muriel and Grandma are enjoying their reward together in their Heavenly home.

Ray and I are saddened to hear of the news of Muriel's passing away. There is no doubt in my mind that she and Lucile are sharing the joys of Heaven right now as I write this. We always loved her cheerful way, her smiles and the way she always found encouraging things to say to you, and her sense of humor was great. She will be missed by many who knew her. Please know that your family has our prayers at this time of loss of such a wonderful lady. Love and Prayers, Ray and Debbie Kilmer and their families.
