Dear family members- I was John's chaplain and friend for the many years he was an active part of the Hershey Fire Department. We had many a conversation and shared thoughts about life in general. We could meet on the street, at a fire meeting, or wherever and have these great conversations. I visited with him in hospital on occasion and was very sorry to learn of his death, but I know he was not the same John I conversed with prior to his hospitalization. I know he is at peace and now without pain so he has gone to a better life than he could ever imagine here on earth. God grant him and the family members peace and comfort at this time. Rev. Stough
