Joyce P. Hietpas
Joyce Hietpas, age 90 of Little Chute, passed away quietly on May 21, 2015 at the former Parkside Care Center in Little Chute. Joyce was born in Green Bay on August 25, 1924, daughter of the late Engelbert and Veronica (Feifarek) Wolf. For many years she was a member of St. John Catholic Church in Little Chute where she also worked doing some of the housekeeping at the school. She will be remembered as an energetic and feisty lady who always spoke her mind, and as a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend to many. Over the years, she also enjoyed the company of the several pet dogs she shared her home with.
Joyce is survived by four children: JoAnn (Jerry) Sipple of Omro; Tom Hietpas of Appleton; Karla (Kurt) Paltzer of Appleton; and Jeff (Linda) Hietpas of Kaukauna; ten grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren.
It was Joyce's final desire that she leave this world as quietly as she entered, and for that reason, no formal services are being planned. Please remember her privately, in your own way. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established. Memories may be shared by visiting www.wichmannfargo.com.
The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to everyone at Atrium Post Acute Care (Parkside Care Center) in Little Chute. You cared for mom just like she was your very own. We will always be grateful for your kindness.

Joyce was a dear friend of mine. I am so glad that she is in heaven. She told me she was ready for that. We were friends for over 30 years. I enjoyed her sense of humor. She made banana bread for us in her younger years. I will miss her friendship, but she is in a very happy place.
Sincerely, Jane Roovers

Joyce was a dear soul. We first met her when she worked for the cleaning service at the former Little Chute Middle School on Grand Avenue. She took extra special care of our classrooms and especially the plants we had in our rooms. We loved her sense of humor and outlook on life. We always corresponded at Christmas time and she shared a birthday date with a member of our family. We know she will enjoy a glorious reward in heaven. Se will be missed.
