LINCOLN – Helen B. Kosch, 83, passed away Tuesday, May 26, 2015, at the Forest View Manor in Meredith.
She was born in Flemington, N.J., daughter of the late Robert and Elizabeth (Sonafrank) Russell. She was a graduate of Flemington High School.
Helen was married to Francis Kosch on Nov. 25, 1955. She worked as a telephone operator for many years. She owned and operated a quilt shop until her retirement to Lincoln, in 1978.
She was predeceased by her husband, Francis Kosch who passed away in 2010; and her brother, Wallace, and her sister, Hilda in 2013.
She is survived by her four children, Susan Suman and her husband, John of Tempe, Ariz., Barbara Parrs of Ocala, Fla. and her husband, Ron of Shelton, Conn., Nancy Mackinnon and her husband, Steven of Northfield and Frances Gallant and her husband, Donald of Plaistow; her grandchildren, Bethany Gillis, Aleksei Parrs, Nikolal Nokolaevich Stankevich, Kylea Suman, Grant Suman, Robert Mackinnon, Jason Mackinnon and Michael Gallant; one great-grandson, Caleb Gillis; her sister, Esther Russell Mcrae and her brother, Robert Russell of New Jersey; and many nieces and nephews.
A visiting hour will be held Friday, May 29, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the Waters Funeral Home, 50 South Main St., Concord.
Funeral services will follow at 10:30 a.m. in the Chapel of the Waters Funeral Home.
Burial will follow at 12 noon at the NH State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Lakes Region Hospice 186 Waukewan St., Meredith, NH 03253.
