Having grown up three doors down on Curtice a Street, I have many fond memories of Mrs. Lehmann. Strawberry picking (she could out pick me and my mom combined!), stopping over for bonfires, watching her bake and sew and getting my very own homemade teddy bear. She let me play with her girls' Barbies long after her girls were grown and moved out. Some of my best childhood memories have Mrs. Lehmann in them. Thank you for that! My condolences to the family. What a special lady she was!

Dear Lehmann family, I worked with Elaine at Van Paper until June 1950 when I was married, so remember her smiling face very well. She was such a nice friendly person.
My deepest sympathy to all of you. Love. (another Elaine)

I am sadden at the passing of Elaine as she was one of the sweetest ladies I met at Salem. I worked with her at the funeral lunches and she was such a hard worker. I am sure she is now resting in the arms of her Lord !
