Marilyn De Martini Sperisen April 12, 1925 - May 21, 2015 Resident of San Francisco Marilyn Sperisen, beloved mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 21, 2015, after fighting a battle with cancer. Marilyn was a lifelong resident of San Francisco where she was born to loving parents, the late Laura & Joseph De Martini. Marilyn's life was focused on her love for her family, her city and dance. She is survived by her children Francis (Sandy), John and Celeste (Ming), her cherished grandchildren Daniel, Carli, Nicholas and Anthony, her brother Donald (Cecilia), nieces Claudine, Anne Marie and nephew Michael. She was preceded in death by her beloved brother Edmund for whom she cared for many of his later years. Her family provided her with great joy and she took great pride in the many achievements and milestones in the lives her children and grandchildren. Her spirited personality and humor charmed all those who met her. Marilyn was a loving and caring woman who will be terribly missed by all who knew her, and by everyone whose life she enriched.
