Jeanne's family moved to Manhattan when she was 6 yrs old. They later moved to Flushing NY where she graduated a year early from high school. Jeanne spent her freshman year of college at the University of Hawaii. After a year her family moved to SLC where she graduated from the University of Utah with a degree in Home Economics in 1943. Jeanne served a full time mission to the French mission from 1949-1951. In 1953 she married Dennis Olsen of Cardston Alberta Canada in the SLC temple. Jeanne also lived in Spokane WA, San Jose CA and Bellevue WA. Jeanne was a Temple worker in the Seattle Temple for many years. She left WA to serve a full time family history mission in SLC from 1987-1989. After her mission she moved to SLC to work on Family History. Jeanne served faithfully in the LDS church as a Primary President, Relief Society President and chorister but most often served as a church Family History consultant. I've known Jeanne since she served a family history mission in Salt Lake and decided to stay here. A great lady!

Jeanne was a great dedicated Family History buff, but she was also a person with compassion. She and her cousin Eileen were very dedicated to their cousin, Pamela Davis Crane (my wife) during her final struggle with cancer. Their kindness and concern are not forgotten, even ten years later. Please accept my condolence for her loss. George T. Crane, formerly Tooele, now in Farmington.
