There was a great disturbance on the force on Wednesday, May 27, 2015, at St. Mary's Medical Center when Robert Joseph Sperry, Jedi, passed from this life.
Jedi Robert was born in Chicago, Illinois, on August 1, 1970, to the late Jedi Master Fredrick Joseph and Debra (Santangelo) Sperry.
The loss of Jedi Robert was like the destruction of Alderaan to his wife of 11 years, Angela (Harper) Sperry, of Evansville, Ind.; sister, Loranna Schwartz, of Evansville, Ind.; sister-in-law, Brandy Sperry, of Indianapolis, Ind.; padawan nieces and nephew, Angelica Sperry, Mace Sperry and Kitana Hughes; aunt, Candace Levine, of Chicago, Ill.; cousin, Katie Mercado, of Chicago, Ill.; special friend and Jedi brother, Christopher Beard, of Evansville, Ind.; and mother-in-law, Joyce Harper, of Norris City, Il.
Jedi Robert was preceded in death by his mother, Debra Santangelo, in 2014; his father, Fredrick Joseph Sperry, in 2012; brother, David Fredrick Sperry, in 2011; and his father-in-law, Gerald Harper, in 2007.
This Jedi Robert will be laid to rest at 7 p.m. on Saturday, May 30, 2015, at Browning Funeral Home, 738 E. Diamond Avenue, Evansville, IN 47711, with Elder Anthony R. Hughes, Sr., Pastor officiating.
Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Sunday May 31, 2015, at I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Norris City, Illinois.
Friends can visit from 3 p.m. until service time on Saturday at Browning Funeral Home.
