Sister M. Assumption Cueva

Resident of Fremont
Sister M. Assumption Cueva, 83 years old, a member of the Congregation of the Sisters of the Holy Family for 65 years and a resident at the Motherhouse in Fremont, California, entered into eternal rest in Fremont on Thursday, May 28, 2015.
Sister Assumption served briefly in the Archdiocese of San Francisco and the Diocese of Oakland, but most of her years of religious life were devoted to the Archdiocese of Los Angeles and the Diocese of San Jose. In 2003 Sister Assumption moved to Fremont, where she served for a time as a visitor to the elderly and shut-ins under the auspices of the City of Fremont.
A Mass of Christian Resurrection will be celebrated at the Motherhouse Chapel of the Sisters of the Holy Family, 159 Washington Blvd., Fremont, California, on Thursday, June 4, at 4:00 pm. Burial will take place at a later date.
