I have very fond memories of grammy and grampy and Uncle Louis and Aunt Louise always coming to visit us in the summer. It was the highlight of many summers and I will miss her very much. Much love and deepest sympathies to all who had the privilege of knowing her.

You have been, and will remain one of the most influential women in my life. It has been an honor being your great granddaughter and all I've learned from you will never be forgotten. I will never forget the day at your house searching all those recipe books, looking for one recipe I couldn't find anywhere else...we found it gram, and I'll cherish that cook book, as I've always cherished you forever. My beautiful baby girl will carry on your name, and my children will remember you through my love for you. It's a darker world without your incredible spirit, and we all miss you dearly. RIP my beautiful Grammy. <3 :'(

My most sincere condolences to the Skidgel family. Despite never having the pleasure of meeting Mrs. Skidgel, I felt I knew "Mama" through stories shared by her devoted son Wendell. May she rest in peace!
