Lancaster, Sharon Lynn
Sharon Lynn Lancaster, 76, passed away Thursday, June 18, 2015. Sharon was intelligent, an voracious reader and puzzle master. Her standards were set high, for both herself and her family. Her strength, wisdom, devotion and loyalty were the most important influences upon her daughter and granddaughter. Sharon and her husband, Walt loved ballroom dancing and spent many happy hours dancing together at the American Legion in Vestal. She was an avid animal lover, player of video games, golfer and bowler.
Sharon is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Walt, her daughter Lorelei Lynn Lancaster and partner, Gerald Holbrook, treasured grandchildren, Ashlie Lynn and Christopher George and her canine kid, Buddy.
Her family would like invite those who wish to share memories of Sharon and express their condolences to join us from 4:00 until 6:00 pm, Tuesday, June 23, 2015 at the DeMunn Funeral Home, 36 Conklin Avenue, Binghamton. It's never easy to lose someone that is close to you, as much as it is hard to find the words to say when they are gone, I am thankful to have been a part of your family Walt and Sharon you were grandparents to me, (Lorelei/mom) and Ashlie who will always be my sister. Sharon was a wonderful woman. I am blessed to have been able to get to know her. Keeping you all in my prayers love you all.
