Dear Members of the Boyle Family,
When Stephanie emailed me the news about Patricia's tragic fall and subsequent passing,I was very sad to hear the news. She was an important influence in my life and certainly a reason that I became a teacher of English. I know too that I am not alone as one who was influenced by her. I will always remember her intelligence and sense of humor.
My sympathies to all.

So sorry to read about Pat. She was a lovely person and will be missed.
I remember years ago when I was teaching in the Nursing Department at Wilkes and asked her for a reading list, because I had run out of things to read. She invited me to audit her class, Women in Literature, and before I knew it, I was enrolled in the major and subsequently received my MS in Education, with a concentration on English and Literature!I'll always appreciate that. My condolences, Bob.
Sincerely,
Diana Williams Morgan.
