Mrs. Linda Carol Mosher, 74, retired beautician and computer operator, died at 12:00 P.M. on Wednesday in Bartlesville.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Monday at the Hillside Christian Church in Nowata, with Rev. Ben Killion officiating. Interment will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery in Nowata, under the direction of the Stumpff Funeral Home & Crematory.
Memorial Contributions may be made in her memory to the Salvation Army 101 N. Bucy Bartlesville, OK. 74003, or the Washington County S.P.C.A. 16620 State Highway #123 Bartlesville, Ok. 74006.
Mrs. Mosher was born on August 8, 1940 at Lenapah, Oklahoma to Glen Eldon & Edith Vivian (Bond) Jordan. She was raised and received her education at Lenapah, Copan, and Alluwe, graduating High School at Alluwe in 1958. She was married to Delmar Thomas Mosher, Jr. on September 22, 1961 at Nowata, Oklahoma. They came to Bartlesville to make their home and she was employed as a beautician in Bartlesville, and Nowata, and then later worked as a Computer Data Entry employee for Phillips Petroleum Company, for over 10 years, working in several different departments there. She also has volunteered in several of the area nursing homes doing hair for the residents there. She enjoyed traveling and vacationing with her family in Branson, the Smokey Mountains, camping and fishing at Grand Lake, and Tenkiller, where she also was an avid skier. Her hobbies were art, crocheting, sewing, ceramics, her flowers. She was a member of the Highland Park Baptist Church in Bartlesville, where she worked in the Nursery.
Mrs. Mosher is survived by her husband Delmar Thomas Mosher, Jr. of the home, two sons Steve Mosher of Miami, Oklahoma, and Brent Mosher of Bartlesville, by two brothers Lloyd Jordan, and wife Evelyn of Nowata, and John Robert Jordan and wife Judith of Nowata,, by three sisters, Glenna Hitchcock of Copan, OK., JoAnn Rein and husband Larry of Santa Anna California, and Sharon Flewellen of Catoosa, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her parents, and by a sister Shirley Kay Jordan as an infant.
