Robert M. Valliere, 59 "OMAR"
BIDDEFORD - Robert M. Valliere, "OMAR," 59, entered peaceful eternity on June 23, at Gosnell Memorial Hospice House. He was the beloved son of Robert and Yvette Valliere. Bob was the adored husband of Karen Letourneau for 34 years.
He served in the U.S. Navy 'Seabees' as a heavy equipment operator. The bulk of Bob's professional career was spent working for Smith & Son Excavating and Maietta Construction.
He was a member of the Saco Yacht Club. Bob was in his glory everyday he spent fishing on his boat.
He is survived by his wife, Karen; his son, Jeffrey and his wife Jennifer, his daughter, Nikki and her partner Laurie; his sisters and their husbands, Dot and Phil Kopetski, Joan and Warner Garland; along with extended family and many friends who he loved dearly.
In keeping with Bob's wishes, there will be no visiting hours or funeral service. In honor of Bob, it is suggested that you take the time to go fishing with someone you love. Arrangements are by Hope Memorial Chapel. To share condolences online, please visit
