Abler, Patricia
Patricia H. Abler, age 66, of rural St. Cloud died peacefully on Saturday, July 4, 2015, at her home with her loving family at her side.
The former Pat Schaefer was born December 21, 1948, to the late Leonard & Alice (Flesch) Schaefer. On June 7, 1969, she married Paul Abler at St. Cloud Catholic Church in St. Cloud.
Pat was a member of St. Isidore Parish-St. Cloud Church and the Christian Women's Society.
Pat was the beloved wife of Paul Abler of St. Cloud; Loving mother to Chad (Shelly) Abler of Random Lake, Craig (Erin) Abler of St. Cloud and Michelle (Dan) Liedtke of Gulfport, FL; Loving grandmother to Bennett, Madelyn and Silas Abler; her brothers, Ron (Mary) Schaefer of St. Cloud, Bill (Jean) Schaefer of Fond du Lac, Jerry (Deanna) Schaefer of North Fond du Lac and Larry (Mary) Schaefer of St. Cloud; sisters, Judy (Bob) Grantz of Rapid City, SD, Rose Ziebert of Fond du Lac and Shirley (Tim) Fox of Brooklyn, WI; sisters-in-law, Carol (Joe) Schmitz of Charlesburg and Kathy Abler of Malone. Pat is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Leonard & Alice Schaefer; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Clemens & Genevieve Abler; two brothers-in-law, Duane Abler and Kenneth Abler; and two nephews, Dean Schmitz and Scott Schaefer.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30am on Wednesday, July 8, 2015, at St. Isidore Parish-St. Cloud Church, 924 Main Street St. Cloud, WI 53079. Rev. Gary Wegner, OFM Cap. will officiate. Pat will be laid to rest in the St. Cloud Catholic Cemetery.
Family and friends may greet the family on Tuesday, July 7th at the Sippel Funeral Home 1311 Thorp Street St. Cloud, WI 53079, from 4:00pm until 8:00pm and again at the funeral home Wednesday morning from 9:00am until 10:00am when brief rites will be held.
A prayer service will be held at the funeral home Tuesday evening at 8:00pm.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established in her name.
