Martha L. Walder
RITTMAN -- Martha L. Walder, 91, of Rittman, died unexpectedly Thursday, July 2, 2015 surrounded by her loving family at Akron City Hospital.
She was born November 12, 1923 in Sterling to the late Ben and Della (Ramsier) Maibach. She graduated from Sterling High School in 1941 and worked on her family farm until she married Donald Walder on May 23, 1948. They were happily married for 49 years until his death in 1998.
Following marriage they lived six years in Cissna Park, IL before relocating to the Wayne County area. In 1964 Martha and Don began W.G. Dairy Supply in Creston where she remained an active part of the business until the time of her death.
Martha was a member of the Apostolic Christian Church for 71 years. The greatest legacy she leaves was her steadfast faith and generous, loving and caring heart.
Surviving are six daughters and five sons-in-law, Sharon (Late Jim) Rupp of Seville, Marian (Joseph) Stoller of Marshallville, Lois (Virgil) Gasser and Joanne (Robin) Stoller both of Creston, Arliss (Steven) Pamer of Norton and Donna (Neil) Gasser of Sterling; 25 grandchildren; 65 great-grandchildren; brother, Andrew Maibach of Rittman; sister-in-law, Delores Maibach of Rittman; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Martha was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald Walder; brothers, Roy, Alton "Jack" and infant brother Alvin Maibach; sisters, Pearl, Marie, Lillian, Ellen and Naomi; and son-in-law, Jim Rupp.
Services will be held Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. at the Rittman Apostolic Christian Church, 10699 Steiner Rd., Rittman, OH with ministers of the church officiating. Burial will be at the Apostolic Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 9 p.m. on Monday, July 6 at Auble-Gillman Funeral Home, 360 W. Sunset Dr., Rittman and from 9:30 to 10:15 a.m. on Tuesday at the church.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Rittman Apostolic Christian Church or the Apostolic Christian Home, 10680 Steiner Rd., Rittman, OH 44270.

Martha was such a true woman of God. I had many lovely conversations with her over the years and feel blessed for ever meeting her. What a long life given to serving. Sympathy to all the family and friends of this lovely lady.
