MADISON, Ga. - Mr. Larry E. Saunders, 67 of Madison, died July 1, 2015. Mr. Saunders was a native of Statesboro, GA. He was born August 19, 1947 to Emory and Eloise Parrish Saunders. Mr. Saunders was married to Beth Brown. He worked as a radiology technician for the Veteran's Administration. Later he began working for Trading Place Pawn. Mr. Saunders loved people and never met a stranger. He was an avid outdoorsman. He liked to hunt and fish and was an avid gun enthusiast and collector. Mr. Saunders is survived by his wife, Beth Saunders and their daughter, Leighann Page and husband, Arnie. He leaves three grandchildren, Rus, Kyle and Ansleigh Page. Mr. Saunders also has a brother, Randy. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 7, 2015 from 2-3PM at A.E. Carter Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held in the chapel at 3PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Mary's Hospice House, 1660 Jennings Mill Road, Bogart, GA 30622 or to the American Cancer Society.

So sorry for Larry's illness but glad he is not suffering anymore. He was my life long friend beginning in grammar school. I will always cherish his memory. Beth and family, you're in my thoughts and prayers.
