Kathleen A. Jetson, 81, of Spring Valley, died Friday, July 10, 2015, at her home.
A funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 15, at St. Ignatius Catholic Church in Spring Valley, with the Rev. Steve Peterson officiating.
Kathleen was born July 23, 1933, in Harmony, the daughter of Francis and Ethel (Thompson) Linstroth. She graduated from Harmony High School in 1951 and married Milton Jetson the same year. She was a restaurant/bar owner entrepreneur since 1975. She was successful in establishing the "Junction" in Harmony, the "Dynasty Lounge" and "Kathy's Kitchen," both of Spring Valley.
Kathleen was an active member of St. Ignatius Catholic Church. She enjoyed gardening, wood refinishing, cooking and walking Katie, her dog.
Kathleen is survived by eight children, Teresa (Byron) Kolz of Plymouth, Della (Clovis Woxland) Mehaffey of Mabel, Diana Ruffing of Georgetown, Texas, David (Liz) Jetson of Rapid City, S.D., Wesley (Louann) Jetson of Italy, Texas, Monte (Lori) Jetson of Cotati, Calif., Maxine (Bill) Conrad of Harmony and Roxane (Marshall Miner) Jetson of Mesa, Ariz; 18 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a granddaughter, Melinda Jetson; three brothers, Tom, Jerry and Donald Linstroth; one sister, Mary Ethel Pierce; and one son-in-law, Ricky Mehaffey.
Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 14, at Thauwald Funeral Home in Spring Valley, and also one hour prior to services at the church.

I woke up this morning thinking about all of you so did a search. When I found this I was sad and nostalgic, but full of happy memories. I remember all the times we used to play at your house. I also remember that steep narrow staircase that was in your house. Interesting the things we remember. Kathy was such a bright, fun and enthusiastic person. I loved her laugh!
