Joan M. Manno, 80, of 1 Cottage Ln., Aliso Viejo, Calif., died July 4, 2015 at her residence.

She was born Oct. 24, 1934 in Johnsonburg, daughter of the late of Joseph W. and Madeline Burdick Manno.She resided in California for most of her life. She graduated from Johnsonburg High School in 1952 and from Ohio State University in 1970 with a degree in social work. She received a paralegal certificate from the University of California at Irvine in 1980. She received a MBA from the University of Phoenix in 1990.She had been employed at "The Angel Store at Seal Beach" in Seal Beach, Calif. for the past 10 years, and she had been employed by Orange County, Calif. as a social worker, a paralegal and bookkeeper at a law firm and was an editor at James Publishing in Santa Ana, Calif.

She is survived by four sons, Joseph Teglovich of Aliso Viejo, Calif., Richard J. Teglovich of Port Angeles, Wash., John Teglovich of Aliso Viejo, Calif., and Eugene "Gene" Teglovich of Denver, Colo.; five daughters, Mary, Mrs. Bruce Russo of Dallas, Texas, Gina, Mrs. Bill Bernardy of Arlington, Texas; Maria Marshall of Huntington Beach, Calif., Joan Teglovic of Dubai, United Arab Emirates; and Mary Grace, Mrs. Keith Souter of Seal Beach, Calif.; 18 grandchildren; one great-grandson; two sisters, Patricia St. Marie of Downey, Calif., and Edith Giovelli of San Diego, Calif.; one brother, Richard James "Chip" Manno of Ridgway; and many nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Bruno and Thomas Manno; and sisters Innocence Sinclair, Josephine Anthony, Leonida Manno and John and Madeline Manno in infancy.

Friends and family are invited to attend a commital service for Joan M. Manno to be conducted at the Anthony F. Ferragine Funeral Home, 401 Chestnut St., Johnsonburg on Friday, July 17 at 10 a.m. Officiating will be Rev. David J. Wilson, pastor of Holy Rosary Church, Johnsonburg. Interment will be in Holy Rosary Cemetery, Johnsonburg.
