Josephine Orosco, of Acampo, passed away on July 14, 2015, at the age of 88. Josephine (Josie) Ayule Orosco, was born March 19, 1927, in El Paso Texas. Josie was married to Antonio (Tony) Tapia Orosco for 67 years prior to his passing in 2010. Tony and Josie worked together for 28 years at the Harney Lane Migrant Center, in Lodi, CA before retiring in 1992. Josie enjoyed reading her Bible and then telling everyone that came over to visit about her Jesus, and how much He loved them. Josie also enjoyed gardening and growing roses. She would grow the most beautiful roses. Then came grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Josie's face would light up when they came to visit her. She would play and talk to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren for hours and hours. Josie also liked to visit with her oldest and best friend, her Sister-in Law, Alice Orosco. Josephine was preceded by death by ErLinda Orosco (daughter); Antonio Tapia Orosco (husband); Esar Ricardo Orosco (son); brothers, Valentino Ayule, Raymond Ayule , Peter Ayule, Joey Ayule, and George Ayule. Josephine is survived by Rosie Reyes, sister; Steve Ayule, brother; Linda Enriques , daughter; Esther Orosco ,daughter; Anthony P. Orosco, son (Rosa); Philip Orosco , son (Andrea); and 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Friends are invited to visit Friday, July 17, from, 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Lodi Funeral Home. A chapel service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, July 18, at 2:00 p.m. with committal to follow at Cherokee Memorial Park. In Lieu of Flowers, donations can be made to: Hospice House of San Joaquin or The Tabernaculo De Nueva Vida Church , 2927 E. Acampo Road, Acampo, CA 95220
