Joanne M. Vohar, 57, of Edwardsville passed away Wednesday, July 15, 2015, at her home.
Born in Peru, Ind., on Aug. 27, 1958, she was the daughter of the late George and Shirley Carle Spishock.
She attended the West Side Vocational Technical School, Pringle, and the McCann School of Business, Wilkes-Barre.
She was employed by the Social Security Administration, Wilkes-Barre, until her retirement in 2004.
Joanne enjoyed camping, traveling and going to the beach. She loved spending her time with her beloved family, most especially with her grandson, Bobby.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Michael Spishock.
Joanne is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, Robert E. Vohar; daughter, Melissa Elizabeth Napersky and her husband, Steve; grandson, Bobby; sister, Kathleen Gwaltney; and a niece, Heather.
Private funeral services will be held from Andrew Strish Funeral Home, 11 Wilson St., Larksville.
There will be no public calling hours.
