George F. Cahill Esq. 87, of Concord. Longtime resident of Weston. July 21, 2015. Beloved husband of the late Constance H. (Hutchins) Cahill. Father of Gregory H. Cahill and his wife Victoria F. of Wellesley, Mark D. Cahill and his wife Rebecca A. of Weston, Pamela M. Ostertag and her husband Juergen R. of Darien CT, and Christopher J. Cahill and his wife Ann M. of Watertown. Grandfather of Peter, Olivia, Jack, Andrew, William, Ella Rose Cahill, Isabelle and Madeleine Ostertag. Brother of the late Anne Marie Casey and her late husband William C. of Winchester, the late Charles A. Cahill and his late wife Joan of Jackson, NH formerly of Wellesley. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. George was born and raised in Newton, a graduate of the College of the Holy Cross Class of 1949, received his law degree from Northeastern University Class of 1952. He was a practicing attorney for 63 years and a founding partner in the law firm of Cargill, Masterman & Cahill, Boston. Georges lifelong passions were family, church, politics and all things Holy Cross. Funeral from the George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home 477 Washington St. (RT. 16) Wellesley, was held on Friday at 8:45am, followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Ignatius Church, Chestnut Hill at 10am. Visiting hours were held on Thursday from 4-8pm. Interment in Linwood Cemetery, Weston. In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may be made to the Constance & George Cahill Music Scholarship Fund at the College of the Holy Cross, 1 College St. Worcester, MA 01610.
