"Grip" was a fine football player at Flint Northern, and part of a very nice family. I was closer to his younger brother, Kurt - but knew Arlon both from high school and from the City work he did. Great guy!

May Arlon rest with the Holy Spirit along with his loved ones. The whole Gripentrog family was a blessing to me, especially my dearest friend, Kay. Their mom, Dot, was my second mom growing up!

"Grip" was my supervisor many years ago when I worked summers for the Park & Recreation Board in Flint. He was a great boss and am sure he had a good life.
