O'Brien, Loraine H. GUILDERLAND Loraine H. O'Brien, 87, passed away suddenly on Monday, July 27, 2015, with her loving family by her side. Loraine was born on July 13, 1928 in Hartford, Conn. to the late William and Justine LaHomidue. She was the widow of the late Robert Magnan who passed away in 1971. Together they had two daughters. She then married the late Joseph O'Brien in 1975, whom she shared the last 40 years of her life. She was very proud of her service as an assistant manager at Kids Store at Colonie Center. Loraine's passion in life was her family. Loraine is survived by her loving daughters, Linda (Michael) Burnash, and Carol Magnan; her four granddaughters, Jennifer Tropiano, Tammy (Michael) Bolduc, Julie (Eric) Lansing, and Kimberly (Kevin) DonVito, and her cherished eight great-grandchildren, Bryan, Allyanah, Emmalynn, Michael (DonVito), Robert, Vincent, Anna, and Michael (Lansing). Calling hours will be held at New Comer Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Albany, on Friday, July 31, 2015, from 4-7 p.m. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, August 1, 2015, at 10 a.m. Burial will take place at Woodlawn Cemetery in East Schodack.
