AnnMarie Olender Obituary

SOUTHINGTON - AnnMarie "Annie" Angelina Olender, 16, of Southington, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 28, 2015.

Annie was born on March 9, 1999, in Bristol, the loving daughter of James H. Sr., and Angelina (Testa) Olender. Annie loved softball and was a member of the Southington Lightening 99's Travel Softball Team and the Southington Lady Knights JV Softball Team. She was also a proud member of the International Order of the Rainbow for Girls. Annie loved the water and spent many summers fishing and boating. She was like a suction cup on the water tube. Annie enjoyed dancing, music, turtles and spending time with her family and friends. We will miss her and her beautiful blue eyes.

In addition to her parents James and Angelina, Annie is survived by her three brothers, Daniel Orlando, of Alaska; Jon Claude Fortin Carey and James H. Olender Jr., both of Southington. She also leaves behind her best friend, Joseph Gryckiewicz; her nephew, Liam Michael Williams; and her niece, Avery Angelina Carey; her maternal grandfather, James Testa and his wife, Jamie; and her maternal grandmother, Marilyn Carey; aunts and uncles, James Testa Jr., Michael Testa, Cheryl Testa, Jennifer Lewis and her husband, Trevor, TJ DiBiaso and his wife, Crystal, Janice Olender, Laurie Burnley, Michaela Burnley; and several loving cousins. She was predeceased by her paternal grandparents, Henry and May Olender.

Annie's family would like to thank everyone for the donations and support which are greatly appreciated. Donations in AnnMarie's memory may be made to www.gofundme.com/angelannie.

I am truly sorry for your loss. I remember Annie & your children Angel when they were little. Annie & her brother came down to my friends store to buy you a Birthday day present. They had saved their money. I'll never forget how happy they were to do this. God Bless your Beautiful Annie. May you find peace & strength. My thoughts & prayers are with you & your family.
