Vincent Michael "Vinnie" Graffato entered into eternal rest after a courageous battle with lung cancer on August 2nd, 2015 at the age of 77. Beloved husband of Gail Rabeneck Graffato for 55 years. Son of the late Vincent M. Graffato and the late Lucille Baldwin D'Aunoy. Devoted and loving father of Michele Graffato Story (Bob), Michael Graffato (Lisa), Tina Graffato Hesse (Jamison) and Mark Graffato (Jenny). Devoted grandfather of Ben Story (Kristen), Ashley Story, Tiffany Sanchez (Brandon), Katie Laughlin (Nicholas), Douglas Graffato, Shelby & Savannah Hesse, Marissa, Anthony & Jacob Graffato. Also like a grandfather to Lauren Villneurve, Erica Leonard and Taylor Textor. Great Grandfather of Skylar Sanchez and Carter Laughlin. Brother of Agnes McNulty (John), Glenda Froelich (Bruce), the late Yvonne Hull and the late Elaine Graffato. Stepbrother to Dennis D'Aunoy and Rose Adams. Vincent is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. He was Honorably Discharged from the Air force National Guard, serving between 1956-1960. He was employed and retired from Entergy after 30 plus years. Founder and past President of the original Butch Duhe Mens Club. Coach and Supervisor at Butch Duhe playground for 25 plus years. He was an active member of the Kenner Lions Club for many years. Member of the SAAU and Post Commander of the American Legion Post 396. He was a devoted Catholic and regularly attended mass at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Kenner. The family would like to thank Lakeside Hospice nurses, Teri and Maria, for their constant care over the past year. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at L. A. Muhleisen and Son Funeral Home, 2607 Williams Blvd., Kenner, LA on Friday, August 7, 2015 at 11:00 AM with Visitation beginning at 9:00 AM as well as Visitation on Thursday evening from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Vincent was a good friend to many people and a great family man. The generosity of his time to Butch Dude playground and the Kenner Lion's Club for many, many years speaks highly of his character. He will surely will be missed.

We are so sorry for your loss. He was such a nice & caring man. I will never forget the time & dedication he gave to all the kids at Butch Duhe. He was always willing to help anyone who needed him. Whether it was at the playground, Lions Hall or The Men's club everyone knew they could count on Mr. Vincent. I'm truly sorry for your family's loss. You are all in my prayers.
