Lillian Quinn, 88, died peacefully Thursday evening at Menorah Park. Born on November 12, 1926 in the Bronx to William and Catherine Cooley, she was a resident of the Bronx for most of her life. She and her husband, John of blessed memory raised their two daughters there and enjoyed a good life. In 1980, John and Lillian moved to Proctorville, OH. John died in 1986 and Lillian moved to Syracuse.
Lillian's love was taking care of her family and their home. She enjoyed crocheting and took great pleasure in giving her beautiful pieces to her family and friends.
She is survived by her daughters, Linda (James) Nungesser of Proctorville, OH, Nancy (Lloyd) Kasow of Cicero; her grandson, USMC Staff Sgt. James (Angela) Nungesser; and her great-grandchildren, Lexie, Caitlynn, and Gavin.
Graveside services were conducted at Pine Lawn Cemetery on Long Island.
Contributions may be made to The Jewish Community Center; senior lunch program.
