Edward H. Middlekauff, 85, of Wilson Borough, PA, passed away Friday, August 7, 2015 in Brakeley Park Center, Phillipsburg, NJ. Born November 16, 1929, in Point Pleasant, NJ, he was a son of the late Carl and Alma Stokes Middlekauff. His wife of 44 years, the former Shirley M. Schmidt, died July 24, 1999. He was retired as a manager for Leiser's Rentals. Ed attended Scranton Technical High School and served with the US Army in the Constabulary Unit. He was fondly known as "Grandpa" to family and friends. He loved to spend time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Ed enjoyed reading, making model planes and boats, and fixing things. Ed was a member of the American Legion Post 397, Hellertown. Surviving are two daughters, Dawn M. Moll and her husband Al, of Williams Township and Karen L. Frey, at home; eight grandchildren, Jaime McInerney and her husband Matt, Tony Curto, Bobby Frey and his wife Kathleen, Jim Moll and his wife Stephanie, Mike Moll and his wife, Amy, Josnelly, Yadiel and William Saez; two great-granddaughters, Harper and Mikenzie; and his faithful companion, Lizzie He was predeceased by a brother, Ronald Middlekauff and two sisters, Carlita Colarossi and Mary Carone. Services will be held at 11am Tuesday in the Strunk Funeral Home, Inc., 2101 Northampton Street, Wilson Borough. Call Tuesday 10-11am in the funeral home. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Northampton Memorial Shrine. Offer online condolences at www.strunkfh.com.
