John W. Campbell Sr., 80, of Elizabethtown, entered into eternal rest on Thursday August 6, 2015 at his home.
John was born on May 27, 1935 in Hagerstown MD and was the son of the late Stansie and Ethel McKeever Campbell.
He was retired from Bethlehem Steel where he worked as a crane operator. John was also a member of the Middletown Moose Lodge 410 and enjoyed golfing and collecting coins.
In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his sisters, Mary Mason and Virginia Hawkins.
John is survived by his loving wife, Patricia Campbell; seven children, Vickie Heinbaugh (Joe) of Hummelstown, Darla Stover of Elizabethtown, John W. Campbell Jr. (Jennifer) of Linglestown, Sherry Garmin (Eric) of Steelton, Shawn Campbell (Lori) of Middletown, Michelle Campbell of Middletown, and Shane Campbell (Stephanie) of Hummelstown; two brothers, Stansie Campbell and Malcom Campbell; one sister, Daisy Berkebile; nineteen grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services and burial will be at the convenience of the family.
The family has entrusted the Matinchek & Daughter Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc. to handle the funeral arrangements.
