SUNBURY — Geneva A. Jordan, 83, of Sunbury, Ohio, went to join her Lord at her residence surrounded by her family and friends on Sunday, Aug. 9, 2015.
She was born June 12, 1932, and grew up in Kaw City, Oklahoma, to the late Lloyd and Florence (Dodson) Jones.
Married for 33 years to the late Leo C. Jordan, they were united as husband and wife on Feb. 21, 1963, in Galena. Geneva was a retired medical technician.
She is survived by her daughter, Trudy Jordan McClaskey of Sunbury, Ohio; son, Todd Jordan of Arkansas; nephews, Wayne and Mark Williams of Arkansas.
Preceded in death by her husband, Leo C. Jordan on Oct. 13, 1996; brothers, Jack and Wallace Williams.
Friends may call 10-11:30 a.m. with service beginning at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 12, 2015, at the DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, State Route 3 at 637 Ohio 61, Sunbury. Pastor Dirk Wooten officiating. Interment will follow in the Galena Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to either the Galena United Methodist Church in Galena, Ohio, or SourcePoint of Delaware County in Delaware, Ohio.
