Some of my favorite memories of summers spent in central Florida involve hanging out with Avis, who was (as others have already noted) warm, funny, and had a remarkable way with all of the animals in our family--no small feat considering some of their craziness! I will miss her so much, and my thoughts and love are with the whole family, especially Darlene and Erin.
